This is the season to be thankful and to give. It amazes me how many people I meet seem to have a hard time with either of these life skills. Yeah, I like to play the scrooge this time of year, but I have six kids and the holidays easily become a great deal of expense and work … humbug. Its an act, those who love me know it. At my core, I try to live a life of amazement and I try to learn something each day. I am also trying to be more gracious and have a sense of gratitude each day. There is hope for “the ol’ grump” …. maybe.
The first video I watched on Thanksgiving Day. Embedded in this presentation is a wonderful video. It is two perspectives on life from a young child and an elderly man. If you do nothing else today, watch the embedded presentation. Later on, check out Louie’s work. It is nothing short of amazing.
Louie Schwartzberg: Nature. Beauty. Gratitude.
The second video that is actually in this post is about what a fetus learns in the womb. What we are learning about the development of unborn children, from really simple experiments, is phenomenal. Take the time later on to come back to this video. Share it with anyone or couple that is expecting a child. It is wonderful information.
Annie Murphy Paul: What we learn before we’re born
Yeah, it is time out of you life. But if you do nothing else, watch Louie Schwartzberg: Nature. Beauty. Gratitude.
Have a great season if I don’t see you before.
God Bless.
